When Two Worlds Collide.

The amEIREcan is a combination of two words…

 

• Eire = the Irish Gaelic name for Ireland (pronounced ‘Air Ah’)

• American = You (or most of you anyway)

...and two worlds.

Brandy is from Woodbine, Iowa and Stephen is from Monaghan, Ireland. After years of travelling around the world together, with so many ideas on what business to establish, we finally found one that we believe in enough to give it a go. And we have finally found the community that we want to serve-Bloomington/Normal, Illinois.

 

It is our goal to provide everyone, whether you have Irish ancestry or otherwise, with high quality products. Most everything in our shop is hand-crafted by artists and artisans in Ireland while the rest is Irish-inspired from right here in the States.

 

We take great care to make sure we support our respective and neighboring Celtic countries when choosing which products to provide you.
